About the Team

The Adelaide Dentons' Real Estate team is a market leader, boasting a client portfolio and landmark-matters across the State which is second-to-none, and only growing. To mention but a few, our team works across Market Square, Lot Fourteen, Brompton Gasworks and South Beach. We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join the team, whether based in Adelaide or interstate (see below).

Broadly, the team works on:

• Major developments and large-scale projects
• Major acquisitions and divestments
• Commercial, retail, and industrial leasing
• Strategic property advice

You will work closely with highly regarded down-to-earth Partners, gaining exposure to premium clients and sophisticated transactions – and working hand-in-hand with multiple teams across the Dentons practice groups and offices (both nationally and internationally).

• Major property developments
• Major acquisitions and disposals

You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment with clear progression pathways. Our Partners work together with the team and with each other across the client portfolio – team members are not siloed to Partners, and work collaboratively with other teams.

About You

We are seeking a technically strong and commercially minded lawyer who is looking to accelerate their career within a global platform.

You will bring:

• 4-7 years' PQE in property law (from a reputable Australian law firm);
• Strong academic credentials;
• Strong leasing experience with a desire for exposure to a broader commercial real estate practice;
• Strong transactional experience, to join a well established transactions team;
• The ability to work well both autonomously and within a team;
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills; and
• High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

This opportunity is open to lawyers matching the above criteria who are ideally based in Adelaide, but we are also keen to hear from those based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
