The Opportunity

We are growing our Lending practice and now have multiple positions available for paralegals who are experienced in mortgage processing to consider joining the team and be a part of the world's largest law firm.

This is a high volume work environment and while your role will be to assist with the workflow, you may find that you are responsible for the entire mortgages processing function or that you are focussing on one (or more) of the function areas; funding, verification, administration or settlements. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
•    Completion of tasks on residential mortgage files to the required service level standards
•    Monitor internal reports and dashboards daily by ensuring files are updated on internal systems
•    Reviewing mortgage documents to ensure accuracy and legal and client compliance;
•    Organising (and attending where needed) paper and PEXA settlements;
•    Communicating with clients, borrowers, solicitors and brokers via telephone and email;
•    Billing.
Ideally you will have three to five years of demonstrable mortgage processing experience gained in an end to end role, gained from a low or high volume environment, in addition to knowledge of PEXA. You need to be highly competent and able to adapt to focus on one or multiple stages of the pre and post settlement process.

Your career move to Dentons will utilise your skills in this critical role, in addition to providing you with a new challenge to realise your potential and positively impact your career ahead. Your career path will be transparent and you will be fully supported to achieve your career goals.
