The opportunity

 

We are looking for an astute, organised and purposeful Team Leader who will build and lead high performing teams of discharge Paralegals and Practice Coordinators. You will have the experience to operate effectively in a transactional, high volume and fast-paced environment.  Your duties will include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Building and leading a high performing team of discharge paralegals and practice coordinators;
  • Setting clear team and individual objectives that are aligned to the business unit’s strategy and vision;
  • Monitor reports daily to manage individual and team productivity levels and ensure client service level agreements are being met;
  • Monitor KPI performance of team members;
  • Manage team workflow through allocation of appropriate resources;
  • Overseeing day-to-day team operations;
  • Conduct quality control of team members work on a regular basis;
  • Train new team members and identify training needs for existing team members.

 

 

Who we are looking for 

 

Your demonstrable experience in an end to end Team Leader role within the legal and/or banking and finance industry is essential together with your ability to adapt your focus onto the discharge stage of the process and lead a high performing team.  Ideally your experience will be gained over a minimum period of 5 years and you will posses strong  skills in all aspects of people management and development . Your knowledge of state property law and requirements (including PEXA) are essential
