The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career HR professional to gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of HR functions, develop your HR toolkit, while learning best practice in a highly respected, professional services environment.
What you will be doing:
Partnering with highly skilled professionals who value quality, detail, and professional excellence. You will provide administrative support both our legal and business services teams, working alongside a dedicated HR Team across Auckland and Wellington.
In addition to the above your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the full employee life cycle from offer, onboarding, and induction through to offboarding
- Maintaining data integrity across our HR systems (Success Factors/Payroll/Microsoft Suite/File Management System) and intranet to ensure employee records and reporting accurately reflect the firm.
- Coordinating learning and development initiatives, HR documentation, meetings, travel, systems, and reporting
- Drafting of our employment agreements and variation letters and verification letters
- Helping deliver employee inclusion and diversity and wellbeing programmes
- Supporting our summer clerk/early career recruitment campaign
About you:
- Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable
- Eager to learn and grow your HR knowledge and skills
- A relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification (preferably in HR or business)
- At least 1 years+ experience in a similar HR role or an administrative position in a corporate environment.
- An understanding of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital platforms
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
