The role

We are in a growth phase and as such are looking for an Associate with 5+ years’ experience working within a corporate commercial environment to join our team. You will be a team player, and have a desire to work with recognised experts in their field and build your career as a Commercial Lawyer with technology and privacy expertise. 

 

Ideal candidates will have strong general commercial experience, ideally also with expertise in some or all of the following

  • Technology
  • Privacy and Cybersecurity
  • Franchising and Distribution
  • Commercialisation of Intellectual Property
  • Telecommunications
  • Consumer law and media

 

More senior candidates with the above expertise should also apply as the role is not specific to a particular PQE level.

 

The work

Our Technology Team advise local, national and international clients (many of whom are household names) on a broad range of matters We advise on strategic commercial contracting and advice, including technology, data, consumer, intellectual property, and sourcing and supply.  We advise clients on their development and launch of cutting edge technology, and on all aspects of doing business in an online, globally-connected world.  To flourish in our team you will have, and continue to develop, strong plain English drafting skills.  Our work requires the ability to accurately get the detail right, while also being able to consider issues strategically and commercially.
