In Luxembourg we are a team of 50 people (lawyers, support staff and trainees) and provides a full range of advisory and litigation services in all areas of business law to Luxembourg and international clients in a wide range of sectors. About the role 

 

Working closely with the Finance Department, the Accountant will be responsible for the following tasks: 
•    Collaborating with the Finance Department;
•    Preparing financial statements and reports; •    Performing general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy of financial records;
•    Reconciling bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable;
•    Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes;
•    Maintaining and update accounting records and files;
•    Provide support during audits; 
•    VAT & Tax filings;
•    Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts;
•    Collaborate with the Finance Department on various financial projects and tasks.
 
About you

 

 You are a dynamic, proactive and motivated professional with:
•    A Bachelor in accounting or a Master in Business Management with a financial and/or accounting focus;
•    Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices; •    High attention to details;
•    Fluent in English and French, any other language being considered as an asset;
•    Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken);
•    Proficiency in BOB/3E and the MS Office package;
•    Experience in a law firm is valued.
