Marketing & Communication Assistant – Permanent contract Luxembourg

In Luxembourg we are a team of 50 people (lawyers, support staff and trainees) and provides a full range of advisory and litigation services in all areas of business law to Luxembourg and international clients in a wide range of sectors. We provide a full range of legal services, with a particular focus on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, tax, investment funds, banking and finance, structured finance, real estate, and restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy.

About the role
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Business Development and Communication, the Marketing & Communication Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
Ensuring and increasing the firm's external visibility
- Managing client events
- Coordination of conferences, roadshows and exhibitions;
- Writing and updating biographies, press releases, publications, practice group descriptions on our corporate website;
- Creation of presentations and marketing materials - drafting brochures and flyers for our practice groups in close collaboration with our internal creative service department;
- Promoting the firm's activities on Dentons website, local intranet and social networks (LinkedIn);
- Creating and editing video content for social networks;
- Assisting lawyers in preparing newsletters and alerts.
Promoting and stimulating life in the Luxembourg office
- Managing internal events;
- Maintenance of the Luxembourg intranet site to share news from the Luxembourg office (Sharepoint technology);
- Writing posts in English and French on the Luxembourg activities for Dentons Europe and Worldwide internal newsletters.
Providing administrative support
- Monitoring invoices in the budget after approval by management;
- Coordinating the updating of the Luxembourg office contact lists in the CRM system (Interaction and Vuture technology);
- Other projects as requested by the management and based on office needs.
About you
You are a dynamic, proactive and motivated professional with:
- A higher education degree in Marketing / Communication / Administration (Bac+3/4) or equivalent professional qualification;
- Strong organisational skills, ability to work under pressure within strict deadlines;
- High attention to detail;
- Fluent in English and French, any other language being considered as an asset;
- Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken);
- Proficiency in the MS Office package;
- A passion for new technologies, video, social networks and the Web;
- First professional experience or professional experience between 1 and 3 years in the Marketing and Communication field;
- Experience in a law firm or in a communications agency is valued.
