Associate (3 to 6 years’ experience) – Experienced EU Competition and Antitrust Lawyer
To sustain our Europe Competition and Antitrust practice development in Brussels, we are currently seeking a qualified Lawyer specialized in the field of EU competition law focusing primarily on cartel, other antitrust investigations and on merger control procedures.
The lawyers and professionals in our Brussels office form a diverse group from multiple jurisdictions and with strong academic credentials. Committed to helping drive business growth for international and domestic companies, trade associations and governments, we innovate our clients’ business and help them deal with the complexities of EU competition law.

 

About You
•    You are a lawyer duly registered with the Brussels Bar (or qualified with a bar in a Member State of the European Union)
•    You have a law degree that’s backed up by excellent academic results
•    You have gained a minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience in the legal environment
•    You have an excellent command of English in addition to being proficient in French
•    You provide clear, precise, tailored service that helps clients in their day-to-day business, taking into account their needs
•    You have a strong appetite to further develop yourself as a competition advisor in an international setting
•    You look forward to work hand-in-hand with colleagues around the globe in an open, informal and entrepreneurial culture. 

 

About the Role
The role will provide an opportunity to work in a growing team across a variety of competition related tasks. Some of the day-to-day tasks will include:
•    As a member of our team, you will work for international clients, accompanied and assisted by colleagues across the globe and enjoy challenging work from day one

•    You will be given responsibility and have direct client contact from day one

•    You will take part in marketing and business development initiatives, as well as internal programmes in a truly international firm

•    You will have an opportunity to develop your legal, business and interpersonal skills through training and feedback from experienced colleagues

•    You will be in constant interaction with members of the global Dentons competition teams.
