Legal Administrative Assistant

Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Legal Administrative Assistant. This position will provide legal and administrative support to Litigation lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. This is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office and two days remote each week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file court documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filings
- Responsible for document preparation including pleadings, editing, file maintenance and, client billing
- Preparation of correspondence and responses for mailing, faxing, courier, FEDEX, including the certificate of mailing, copy and filing of documents as per client instructions and/or protocol
- Manage and maintain accurate and organized physical and electronic files
- Enter and review timekeeper entries and assist in the preparation of billing ensuring timely submission of invoices
- Serve as a professional point of contact for clients in person and by phone
- Arrange travel and process expense reimbursements
- Handle confidential and sensitive firm and client information with discretion
- Handle administrative confidential/sensitive firm and/or client information
- These duties may be ongoing or ad-hoc in nature
- Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements for this position
Experience & Qualifications
- 5-10 years of Litigation experience in a mid to large sized law firm
- Proficient in legal and administrative tasks including, but not limited to, document preparation, filing, time entry, billing, expenses, telephone contact, travel arrangements, and calendar maintenance
- Working knowledge of local court rules and procedures
- Possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, work independently, and multi-task a must. Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent client service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required. Knowledge of Intapp, iManage, and Chrome River is a plus.
- Must have a solid ability to learn and adapt to new software programs are essential
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and professional correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and manage incoming and outgoing requests efficiently
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Salary
Pursuant with states' laws, the salary range for this position is $78,000 - $90,000, based on experience and local market.
