Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Strategic Pricing Intern. The Firm's Strategic Pricing team is responsible for developing creative pricing solutions to ensure client value delivery and transparency and to enhance profitability goals.  We are currently building a high-caliber, experienced team that is able to respond to the needs of our clients, lawyers, and professionals. The Intern will play an important role in advancing the Strategic Pricing team’s responsibilities and will contribute towards the Firm's financial objectives. The role will report to the Senior Director, Strategic Pricing & Profitability and will support a variety of pricing and profitability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentons US Pricing team with data gathering in support of client proposals and attorney requests
• Assist the Dentons US Pricing team with ad hoc pricing projects
• Provide support in the monitoring and response of US Fee Request communications
• Collaborate / assist other teams in the Finance or Practice Management departments as opportunities arise
• Gain exposure to US and Global legal industry, products, services, and clients’ needs
• Gain organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments
• Develop business, financial, and analytical skills needed for career in legal operations, finance and/or international business
• Gain exposure to business and profitability analytics and project management to improve Firm financial performance and further client service goals
• Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position

Experience & Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four year college or university
• Genuine interest in developing a career in legal operations, finance and/or international business
• Demonstrate good judgement and problem solving abilities
• Able to plan, organize, and be proactive
• Communicate well and work within a team
