Our award-winning Projects team advises private-sector clients and Government across the full spectrum of energy, transport, infrastructure and development matters. Our diet of work regularly includes rail, hydro, water infrastructure, energy storage, renewables, nuclear, utilities and both UK and international development work, including data-centers.
The role sits within the Projects team, working closely with Gordon Anderson. The team is based in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Milton Keynes and works as an integrated practice across Scotland, England and Ireland, with close links to colleagues in the Middle East and across Dentons' global network.
The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across energy, transport, infrastructure and UK development sectors and we regularly work with colleagues and clients across the wider Dentons network.
The Role
This is a broad role for a lawyer with strong commercial and contractual skills who enjoys complex project work, construction and engineering matters, and tackling new legal and commercial issues.
You will work with a varied mix of private and public-sector clients, primarily on UK and Irish matters, with opportunities to support international projects.
You will take responsibility for your own workstreams, work closely with partners and other senior lawyers, and build trusted client relationships. You will also support the development of junior lawyers and contribute actively to business development, which may include attending and/or speaking at international conferences.
Ideally, the successful candidate would be based out of one of our Glasgow, Edinburgh, Milton Keynes or Irish offices but this is not essential. We are also open to candidates based elsewhere in the UK or Ireland who are looking for a fully remote opportunity. We currently have fully remote team members.
