The Role
The role comprises of three key parts; delivery of an effective and efficient end-to-end recruitment service, providing an effective candidate experience and best in class key stakeholder management.
The role's focus, in addition to delivery, is to ensure that Dentons' is externally recognised as a major employer of talent within the legal industry and that internally, Dentons' actively engages with talent and operates against best practice, legal, inclusive and ethical resourcing principles.
The Resourcing team's vision supports the strategic direction of the Firm, supporting the growth of the Firm though the attraction and growth of each individual. The resourcing team are key to the future success and culture of the Firm and are committed to maintaining transparent, innovative, equal and respectful relationships with internal decision makers, candidates and suppliers.
Responsibilities
• Take ownership for coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process for both business services and fee earner needs, including preparation of job descriptions, screening CVs, creating shortlists, conducting interviews and conducting the offer process with hiring managers/Partners
• Supporting the administration of the application process by accurately maintaining the ATS, document management system & internal trackers
• Work closely & consultatively with hiring managers & Partners in providing advice and guidance on recruitment process and sourcing strategies
• Proactive use of direct sourcing methods to ensure a 60% direct hire ratio, including employee referrals, LinkedIn, job boards and talent pools.
• Building a candidate pipeline for immediate recruitment requirements and for future needs
• Manage third party relationships and agency PSL, regularly monitoring service levels
• Maintain a focus on candidate experience throughout the application process
• Provide a first class candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment process
• Continually work to improve processes and follow best practice
• Collaborate with the wider HR team, including the shared service center in Warsaw, on all business as usual activities and strategic initiatives
• As part of the team, continue to develop our Inclusion & Diversity recruitment strategy
• Maintain a positive outlook during sensitive situations
Required experience, skills, and attributes
• Full 360-recruitment process experience (job posting, shortlisting, initial screening, arranging interviews etc.)
• Experience in a law firm or professional services firm is essential
• Working knowledge of contractor recruitment and IR35 implications
• Good IT competency, including Outlook, Excel, MS Teams
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
• Experience of using social media tools source candidates direct
• Strong interviewing capabilities via face to face meetings and video conferencing
• Excellent communicator at a variety of management levels
• Ability to develop good working relationships with candidates and colleagues of all levels
• Ability to prioritize and work at pace, ensuring deadlines are met
• Ability to be efficient in a busy environment
• Enthusiastic, practical and flexible approach to work
• Ability to take direction, work individually and as part of a team
• A confident networker, attending relevant forums and events – keeping abreast of market trends
• Understanding of legislation relevant to recruitment.
