The Role


The AI Enablement Manager acts as the strategic bridge between business users and AI solutions, ensuring that artificial intelligence capabilities are adopted, integrated, and optimised to meet operational needs. This role focuses on understanding user challenges, identifying opportunities for AI to deliver value, and enabling teams through engagement, training, and support. It requires strong communication and analytical skills to translate business requirements into actionable AI use cases and coordinate with technical teams to deliver them.


Required experience, skills, and attributes


Core Responsibilities

•    Enablement and engagement
Engage with practice groups, business services teams, and other stakeholders to identify needs, map workflows, and uncover opportunities for AI-driven improvements
•    AI strategy and adoption
Contribute to the AI adoption roadmap by aligning initiatives with user pain points and business priorities; promote awareness and understanding of AI capabilities
•    Training and change management
Design and deliver user education and support programs to foster confidence in using AI tools; assist in managing change and adoption risks
•    Workflow and process improvement
Analyse and re-design workflows using methodologies such as value stream mapping and DMAIC to ensure readiness for AI integration and measurable gains
•    Project delivery and coordination
Partner with data science, IT, and innovation teams to ensure successful deployment of AI tools that meet user-defined needs
•    Compliance and risk awareness
Maintain awareness of ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations of AI usage, ensuring responsible adoption in line with firm standards and client requirements

 

Required expertise

•    Solid understanding of AI/ML capabilities, especially in natural language processing and automation
•    Familiarity with legal/business processes and how AI may support or enhance them
•    Experience in business analysis, service design, or digital transformation in a professional services environment
•    Exposure to data governance and responsible AI practices
•    Project management or change management experience, ideally across cross-functional teams
•    Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

 

Preferred qualifications

•    3+ years of experience in innovation, technology enablement, or business operations roles (or cross-practice paralegal experience)
•    Certification (or willingness to obtain) or working knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) 
•    Demonstrated ability to support organisational change and drive adoption of new technologies
