We are presently looking for bright, ambitious and enthusiastic paralegals from across the UK to join our innovative LDC.
The Role
Meeting the ever increasing demands for disaggregated legal services, the LDC offers an exciting opportunity for development and the chance to undertake work that is varied, challenging and engaging. Predominantly dedicated to the structured finance team within the firm's Banking group, this role offers excellent, high quality paralegal experience together with exposure across the firm and to some of the firm's major clients.

This is a hybrid role and attendance to our London office 2-3 times a week is required.
Responsibilities
You will work as part of a team to deliver paralegal support to our Structured Finance Banking team. This will include:
- Using precedents to draft basic structured finance documentation
- Managing and keeping organised draft documentation
- Assisting with the co-ordination of and preparation for the closing of transactions
- Assisting with any post completion registrations or other steps that may be needed
- Responsiblility for producing transaction bibles and distributing original documents at the end of transactions
- Liaising with clients and counterparties in a timely, courteous and professional manner
- Drafting emails and correspondence on behalf of fee earners
- Undertaking legal research, including reviewing standard loan documents and preparing and/or reviewing due diligence reports on underlying assets
- Providing administrative support to fee earners
- Filing and maintaining correspondence and documentation
Required experience, skills, and attributes
- A qualification in law, minimum 2.1 (Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law);
- LPC or equivalent (preferred but not essential);
- Previous Banking paralegal experience;
- Demonstrable interest in Structured Finance;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook);
- Ability to work well under pressure and to very tight deadlines (essential);
- Ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task;
- Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail;
- Demonstrate drive and initiative;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to deal effectively with Partners and professionals across the firm;
- Sociable and a good team player.
