Dentons’ market-leading Corporate Crime team operates at the industry’s forefront and has an exciting opportunity for a 5+ year PQE Associate to work alongside award winning Partners and Associates who have been involved in the most high-profile SFO matters over the last ten plus years.
The team regularly acts for a range of high-net-worth individuals, corporates, and financial institutions facing serious criminal and regulatory risk. Its work spans the conduct of fraud, bribery and corruptions cases; internal investigations; and regulatory enforcement, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to advise on matters involving the SFO, NCA, HMRC, CPS and the FCA.

The Role
We are looking for an able and motivated Senior Associate to join our Corporate Crime Team based in London.
The ideal candidate will be 5 + year PQE, with a proactive mindset, who is passionate about progressing their career within a global firm and in supporting the ongoing growth of the practice.
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional technical knowledge and a proven track record in corporate criminal defence and compliance matters from a respected firm within business crime or criminal/regulatory defence. The
right candidate will be afforded significant client contact and the opportunity to develop their skills further in a supportive and highly collaborative environment.
Required Experience, Skills, and Attributes
Technical Skills and Experience
- Substantial experience from a respected firm in corporate crime, and criminal defence
- Solid understanding of investigations and regulatory enforcement processes.
- Experience of representing individuals or corporations in criminal proceedings
- Experience conducting internal investigations
- Knowledge of or experience in conducting corporate crime compliance reviews
- Effective interview skills
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Well-developed client relationship management abilities
- Advanced drafting skills and legal research ability.
