About the Role

 

This role provides an excellent opportunity to be a key contributor to the growth and continuing success of the corporate team. Specifically, this role will see you advising Australian and international clients in a range of industry sectors. You will be involved in private and public mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and cross-border), private capital raisings and IPOs, advising clients on Corporations Act and Listing Rule compliance as well as commercial matters.

 

You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals who are strongly bonded by their individual industry talents, cohesiveness, inclusiveness and hard work. Our environment is fast paced, dynamic and growing. 

 

About You

 

We are looking for a solicitor with 3 to 6 years' PQE, who has relevant experience in corporate transactions gained in a leading law firm or a well-respected boutique. Your highly developed communication skills and work ethic will cement your success in addition to the following:

 

  • 3-6 years' PQE with significant time spent in a corporate team
  • superior drafting skills for M&A transactions
  • the ability to lead on due diligence exercises
  • commensurate ECM and public M&A experience
  • excellent attention to detail
  • the ability to demonstrate a strong grasp of general commercial legal principles
  • the ability to manage client relationships with the support and guidance of partners
  • the ability to work well autonomously and in a team
  • self-motivation and enthusiasm
  • positive contributions to team culture.
