The opportunity


We have newly created permanent roles and long term contracts for Paralegals, who will be primarily focussed with completing tasks on residential mortgage files to the required service level standards. To assist with the workflow some of the roles have been broken down into various functions to focus on funding, verification or administration and settlements. Your duties will include but are not limited to:


  • Monitor internal reports and dashboards daily;
  • Ensuring files are updated on internal systems;
  • Reviewing mortgage documents for accuracy to ensure accuracy and legal and client compliance;
  • Organising (and attending where needed) paper and PEXA settlements;
  • Communicating with clients, borrowers, solicitors and brokers via telephone and email;
  • Billing.



Who we are looking for


We are looking for paralegals with three to five years of experience in an end to end role, who are highly competent and able to adapt to focus on one or multiple stages of the pre and post settlement process.  Your prior experience working in a high volume transaction environment, knowledge of PEXA and excellent client focus are essential. It is highly desirable that you have experience with multi-jurisdictional matter and knowledge of multiple state property laws and requirements.
