About the Role

 

Dentons’ Employment & Safety practice is a full-service employment practice specialising in providing advice and dispute resolution on matters arising from all aspects of the employment lifecycle for large corporates across multiple industries, and across sectors including education, healthcare, childcare, labour hire, tech, logistics, aged care and educational institutions.

 

You will be part of a national practice that is defined by an inclusive, supportive, and high performing team environment, led by our Head of Office in Melbourne, Paul O’Halloran, who will mentor and support you. Our diverse team has a common passion to be the best employment law specialists in the industry in this dynamic area of law. We have exemplary client service skills and engage heavily in business development and marketing activities.

 

This is a social team that works collaboratively and in support of each other. You will have the opportunity to build your personal brand through dedicated business development and media activities as well as building and managing client relationships yourself.

 

About You

 

We look forward to connecting with technically astute, ambitious lawyers who have demonstrable experience in employment advisory and employment litigation work, who are pragmatic and innovative thinkers and who are driven to be the best employment law specialists in the industry.

 

As a senior member of the team, your excellent leadership skills will be critical in the supervision and ongoing training and mentoring of your more junior team members. Experience conducting workplace investigations and preparing complex advices is highly desirable.
