Accountant - maternity leave replacement

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Milan office and provide support to the Finance Department during a maternity leave replacement period.
You will join a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining the company's financial order and transparency. Your primary responsibilities will include invoicing, preparing financial statements, processing payments, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong numerical ability and great attention to detail, and will contribute to the efficient running of the department and the firm.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

•    Performing payments and managing cash flow
•    Payable and receivable invoice recording
•    Prime entry bookkeeping
•    VAT settlement and preparation of F24 forms
•    Tax returns
•    Preparation of financial statements
•    Financial reporting activities

 


Requirements

 

•    BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field
•    Between 4 and 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably gained in a comparable law firm
•    Good command of numbers and figures, and analytical acumen
•    Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
•    Advanced Excel skills
•    Good knowledge of Datev software
•    Excellent level of Italian
•    Proficiency in English
•    Great attention to detail
•    Excellent organizational skills
