An exciting opportunity has arisen for skilled and motivated lawyers to join Dentons Helix, an innovative legal delivery model within Dentons that combines high-quality legal proficiency, technology, and process efficiency to deliver effective client outcomes. 


Dentons Helix transforms the way legal services are delivered by offering cost certainty, enhancing efficiency, and supporting data-backed strategic decision-making. By joining the Dentons Helix Real Estate team, you will help redefine best practice across the legal industry and contribute to the evolution of how modern real estate legal work is managed. 


You will work on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including leases, land and title investigations, estate management, and support for major projects or transactions. The role offers varied, challenging and engaging work with opportunities to interact directly with business stakeholders, providing commercial and solutions-focused advice. 


You will also collaborate closely with Dentons’ Band 1 ranked UK Real Estate team, benefiting from its deep market knowledge, training and mentoring, while enjoying a flexible, supportive and inclusive working environment.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver a full spectrum of commercial real estate work, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating property contracts, leases, and title documentation.
  • Provide clear and practical advice on freehold and leasehold matters and other property-related queries from both landlord and tenant perspectives.
  • Manage key matters and transactions with appropriate levels of self-management, supported by advanced technology and efficient work processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across Dentons Helix and the wider Real Estate practice to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by using innovative tools and processes that enhance client service and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and develop effective client relationships through responsive, commercially-minded and solution-oriented service.

 

Required experience, skills and attributes


Candidates who are qualified solicitors:

 

  • An impressive academic record, including a degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Solid experience in commercial real estate gained across a broad range of transactions and asset types.
  • Experience in the retail/restaurant sector or electric vehicle roll-out.
  • Proficient drafting skills and legal research ability.
  • Proficiency in using technology and the ability to manage multiple matters to tight deadlines.
