Dentons US LLP is recruiting for a Hospitality Supervisor for our New York office. This position is responsible for managing the New York reception team including management of business partner provided services. This front-facing position plays a vital role in delivering outstanding client service. As the initial point of contact for clients and visitors, you will help ensure a seamless and professional experience. This position is on-site in the New York office 5 days a week. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the New York Reception team.
  • People management responsibilities include hiring, performance management, compensation and termination recommendations.
  • Review reports and requests daily, and throughout the day for changes. Ensure all requests and request changes are recorded, passed onto the supporting departments as needed, and followed-up on, as necessary.
  • Manage conference room activities, through various forms of communication, in coordination with department management.
  • Organize and communicate to appropriate team members related to any special concierge-related meeting needs or requests (e.g., meet-and-greets, client-sponsored functions using conference rooms, etc.), which may involve working “behind the scenes” to ensure that all issues and needs are promptly resolved and are seamless to the customer.
  • Act as the point of contact for large client events, building personnel and operational liaison between NY business partners’ on-and-off-site and with key Dentons Partners and clients in our NY offices.
  • Work with building management on all emergency, fire and safety training and issues.
  • Promote continuous process and service improvement in collaboration with business partners to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with business partners and colleagues to deliver solutions and innovations that meet Dentons expectations for quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure complaints and service failures are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Build relationships across business services partner’s organizations and within Dentons to strengthen working relationships and facilitate innovation and problem resolution.
  • In collaboration with Office Administrator routinely review contracts and ensure business partners adhere to terms and conditions.
  • In collaboration with the Office Administrator, monitor budgets and review and approve invoices.
  • Perform such other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in mid-sized to large law firm administration required with ability to coordinate multiple functions.
  • Good judgment, discretion and confidentiality is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive management, partners, clients, employees and business partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills and the initiative to implement solutions.
  • Must have a team player, can-do attitude with a willingness to help and provide excellent client service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple, simultaneous tasks efficiently with poise and confidence.

Salary

New York Only DOE: $100,000 - $138,000
