Legal Recruitment Coordinator

Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Legal Recruitment Coordinator This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative team, help support the firm’s US recruiting strategy and gain a range of hiring experience. The role will provide general administrative assistance and support to the Legal Recruiting Department in all aspects of lateral attorney and student recruitment, and summer programs. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview schedules for lateral attorney candidates, including working with attorneys to gain availability, following up and compiling feedback, and checking in with candidates to ensure the process is running smoothly
- Provide administrative support, including creating/maintaining files, preparing correspondence, and coordinating conflicts and background checks for prospective hires
- Maintain and update candidate information in Applicant Tracking System (LawCruit and MyDentons)
- Assist with summer program coordination and student recruitment efforts
- Attend local student recruiting and summer program events as necessary
- Support other firmwide legal recruitment initiatives and projects as needed
- Additional duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least one year of recruiting, human resources or professional development experience at a law firm required, with preference for legal recruiting experience
- Previous experience coordinating recruiting efforts or scheduling across multiple offices, time zones, and practice groups
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality work product
- Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills
- Interest in collaborating with others and learning more about the legal recruiting industry
- Ability to occasionally work outside of the regular work schedule to meet department needs
- Possess a high degree of trustworthiness and discretion, due to the highly confidential nature of the legal recruiting process
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with an applicant tracking system is a plus
NY Salary: $65k to $80k DOE
