Learning Coordinator, Learning & Development

Are you passionate about what you do? Are you an outgoing, friendly team player who enjoys challenging themselves in new and interesting ways? This full-time, 18 month contract position within our Learning and Development team could be the perfect fit. 

 

Reporting to the Talent Manager, Learning & Development for the Canada Region, the Learning Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation and day-to-day coordination of the Learning & Development strategy throughout Canada.

 

Responsibilities
•    Manage program logistics, including invitations, reminders, participant tracking, boardroom set-up and catering;
•    Compile and analyze training evaluations and feedback;
•    Develop and prepare program evaluation metrics to assess program effectiveness;
•    Assist in the planning, creation and implementation of the yearly training calendar, within the Canada Region and for cross-region initiatives;
•    Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure content is current and accurate;
•    Work closely with members of the talent team to ensure core competency training programs are delivered and continuously improved;
•    Work closely with members of the learning and development team and subject matter experts to prepare learning and development materials;
•    Manage the learning operations mailbox; 
•    Maintain internal portal page; and
•    Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills, Competencies & Attributes
•    Under graduate degree in Business or other relevant area;
•    2+ years of relevant experience on a learning and development team, organizing training programs and working with subject matter experts and other stakeholders;
•    Experience working in a professional services firm is an asset;
•    Bilingual French / English skills are an asset;
•    Previous experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an asset;
•    Advanced user of Microsoft Office;
•    Experience with setting up and using online learning platforms (e.g. Zoom.);
•    Strong administrative skills, including calendar management, time management, and records management;
•    Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner, create procedures and respond to questions;
•    Strong written & oral communication skills;
•    Team focused;
•    Strong client service orientation;
•    Proficient at handling multiple projects and priorities in a professional and timely manner;
•    Comfortable interacting with all levels of personnel;
•    Creativity and problem solving skills;
•    Ability to self-manage and work proactively; and
•    Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and statistics.
