We are seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our national Finance team on a full-time, permanent basis in our Perth office. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Finance team at the world’s largest law firm.

 

The role of an Accounts Clerk at Dentons is to provide daily support between the Accounts and the Lending Solutions settlements team.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Reconciling daily Client Trust direct deposits to ensure clearance before settlements occur
  • Daily processing of receipts and withdrawals
  • Verify funds for PEXA (e-Conveyancing) settlements
  • Communication with our bank to organise daily bank cheques requirements
  • Follow up and investigate outstanding issues
  • Assist with Trust audit requirements
  • Assist with settlement team billing and trust to office transfers
  • Adhoc queries and requests from Staff and Management
  • Capacity to work East Coast hours is required

 

About you

 

  • Minimum of one years’ experience in a similar role and/or working in a professional office
  • Experience in dealing with Trust funds and PEXA would be an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Efficient and aware of time management requirements
  • Proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to work autonomously and interact in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to all level of employees in our organisation
  • Proficient at Word, Excel and Outlook
