We’re offering a unique and exciting opportunity for a law student to join our Perth office, providing legal administrative support across a range of practice groups.

 

Our role is specifically designed with flexibility in mind, allowing students to work 2–3 days per week around study and other commitments. As part of our National Float/Rotations Team, you’ll gain valuable exposure to life in a law firm while providing administrative support across multiple areas of our practice.

 

Key Responsibilities


You’ll receive training to assist with a variety of legal administrative and secretarial tasks, including:

  • Collating legal documents and creating hyperlinked indexes
  • Editing and formatting legal documents
  • Saving and profiling documents in our document management system
  • Document handling: scanning, filing, printing, photocopying
  • Opening and closing files
  • Conducting InfoTrack searches and Landgate lodgements
  • Attending property settlements
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Supporting expense management, billing, and general finance tasks.

  • Proficiency in Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite
