HR Manager/Assistant Manager (1 year renewable contract)

We are looking for 2 experienced managers/assistant managers with the following skill sets.

  1. HR business partner with experience managing recruitment activities.  
  2.  HR operations - Payroll and benefits management

Business Partnering

 

You will serve as an advisor to the management and employees on HR related issues. You will maintain strong, effective and transparent delivery of communication with different stakeholders in the organisation.

 

You possess good knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, such as talent acquisition and development, employee retention, organisational effectiveness, compensation practices and diversity.


 Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Provides HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of employment law and make recommendations to management on relevant review to firm policy.
  • Manages employee relations issues (e.g disciplinary actions, grievances, termination).
  • Oversees recruitment activities including internship and traineeship programmes.
  • Works with education institutes on recruitment events/fairs.
  • Involve in end to end recruitment for managerial level positions.
  • Works with business heads on manpower planning and budgeting.
  • Manages and guides executives in the team on their daily work.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

 

  HR Operations - Payroll and benefits management

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Processes monthly payroll and claims.
  • Ensures data in HR system is updated promptly and accurately. Liaises with vendor on system maintenance/troubleshooting.
  • Submits government claims in a timely manner (eg. In-camp-training, maternity, Government-Paid Childcare Leave, EDB grant).
  • Submits online tax clearance (IR21) for resigned staff (non-Singaporean).
  • Processes Practicing Certificates cost recovery from resigned lawyers.
  • Manages Renewal of Patent Agency Practicing Certificates and Notaries Public & Commissioners for Oaths.
  • HR data analysis, reporting and surveys eg. MOM/CPF/EDB surveys and monthly global reports.
  • Negotiates insurance renewal with insurer.
  • Co-ordinates and work with Finance on budgeting.
  • Manages and guides executives in the team on their daily work.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

  • At least 6 years of HR experience including 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management and employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a team player.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
