Dentons Rodyk is looking to recruit a Secretary who is capable and highly motivated individual to join its leading Corporate Practice Department.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be assisting the Corporate lawyers in legal administrative support duties
• Provide legal administrative support to lawyers in the Corporate Practice Department.
• Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents.
• Handle and screen telephone calls and visitors.
• Assist with client and matter administration, including file-opening, KYC checks and coordination with relevant internal teams.
• Assist with billing administration and monitoring of client matters.
• Maintain organised records of matter-related administrative items and follow up on outstanding items where required.
• Experience with data processing and documentation work preferred.
• Assist in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least an O Level, NITEC, preferably with PSC or similar secretarial certificate.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field is required for this position.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with all levels.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook software applications.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organised with good prioritisation and multitasking skills.
• Proactive team player capable of managing competing deadlines effectively.
• Able to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks.
