About the role

This is such an exciting opportunity for a law graduate to join our well-established Sydney Construction practice group!

The Dentons Construction team offers decades of experience and a long-held reputation as a leader in the sector, operating with market leading initiatives and technology, both locally and internationally. This incredibly rare and permanent graduate opportunity will expose you to a broad range of non-contentious and front-end drafting matters relating to commercial and residential building and development, infrastructure, and engineering projects.

You will assist with a broad range of building, construction, engineering and infrastructure agreements (including operation and maintenance agreements, project agreements, supply agreements, consultancy agreements and other related project documentation) and act for clients in the public and private sector, including principals, contractors, subcontractors and consultants. You will work in a supportive and friendly environment and learn from an experienced team of senior lawyers eager to assist you in your professional development and growth. You will also have access to our market leading learning and development programs.

About you

In addition to a strong academic record, we are looking for someone with the following capabilities and attributes:

• Pre-admission or post-admission experience and a genuine interest in building and construction law;
• An ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients;
• Excellent attention to detail and research skills;
• An innovative, problem solving mindset;
• Good computer literacy; and
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
