We are looking for a proactive, people focussed HR Administrator to join our team to provide administration support to Dentons, human resources team.
This role has been designed with variety in mind to maximise your opportunity for learning at an accelerated rate to develop and strengthen your foundational HR skills.
You will support the HR generalists, learning & development, onboarding & recruitment, inclusion and social impact team members; to help deliver a seamless, responsive and inclusive people experience for everyone. Some of the key duties of the role are listed below (but not limited to):
- Support the planning, coordination and execution of training and development programs including scheduling, room bookings, material preparations, invitations, and monitoring attendance.
- Support the onboarding processes including adding new hires to the HRIS, coordinating new hire set up with relevant service departments and issuing the orientation plan and details for the first day.
- Support all new hire induction processes.
- Manage all aspects of the Learning Management System.
- Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and coordinating with relevant service departments.
- Help action all personnel changes for future and existing employees.
- Support employee referral and bonus payment process.
- Provide administration support for the annual performance and remuneration review process.
- Support initiatives for employee engagement and benefits administration.
- Support events management as required for the HR team.
- Update HR templates (for example offer letters, orientation plan).
- Preparing HR related letters and offers of employment.
- Provide information for audits and tenders.
- Prepare HR reports for specialist functions for new starters, leavers, recruitment approvals and other reports as required.
- Support background checking processes for new hires.
- Complete pre-start and new hire compliance checklists.
- Support the planning, coordination of DEI events and initiatives.
- DEI reporting as required.
- Conducting market research and supporting the HR team in ad hoc projects.

About you

It is essential that you possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, are organised, have strong attention to detail and have an ability to effectively work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
