About the Role

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our award-winning Human Resources team at Dentons Australia. The HR team partners with leaders to shape an employee experience grounded in inclusion, data-informed decision making and community impact, ensuring our people feel supported and set up for success.

We have listed some key insights into your responsibilities below.  

 

  • Maintain accurate data on the HRIS system, MyDentons (SuccessFactors).
  • Maintain employee records and support system governance activities.
  • Draft contracts, letters and general HR correspondence, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Support the HR Business Partners to provide timely HR advice to employees and leaders
  • Interpret and apply Awards, policies and relevant legislation, and support policy reviews.
  • Support onboarding activities on request, including re-hires, contingent workers and new hires as required.
  • Manage all offboarding activities, including coordinate exit surveys and translate insights into actions.
  • Manage shared inbox queries with a service mindset.
  • Support performance review and remuneration cycles, including salary benchmarking packs and meeting materials.
  • Prepare HR reports on request.
  • Assist HRBPs and the recruitment team with graduate recruitment (including interviews), rotation activities.
  • Build trusted relationships with people leaders.
  • Support HRBPs with performance management, disciplinary matters and grievances.
  • Contribute to HR projects.
  • Maintain precedents and support process improvement and documentation quality.
  • Attend MyDentons system support meetings.
  • Communicate system maintenance, upgrades and change impacts.
  • Support the systems team lead on AI projects and integrations that streamline HR processes.

 

About You

 

We would like to hear from tertiary qualified HR professionals, in particular, Senior HR Coordinators, who are looking for their next career move, or current HR Advisors looking for a new challenge, who have legal or professional services industry experience. You thrive in fast paced environments and maintain sound judgement under pressure with high integrity and discretion. You communicate clearly with confidence at all levels.
