We have an exciting opportunity to join our Verifications Lending Solutions team as a Paralegal on a full-time, permanent basis. We will consider applications from across all of our office locations (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney).


Dentons’ mortgage production teams are responsible for all facets of a residential mortgage matter. Key tasks are distributed amongst teams, ensuring a smooth chain of events from pre-settlement to post-settlement. 

As well as being an active member of the team, you are accountable for ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the expected standard and KPI benchmark level.   


About the role


  • Completing tasks on residential mortgage files to the required service level standards;
  • Monitoring internal reports and dash boards daily;
  • Ensuring files are updated on Dentons Lend;
  • Completing tasks in PEXA;
  • Reviewing loan and mortgage documents to ensure accuracy and compliance froma legal and client perspective;
  • Certifying files for settlement;
  • Organising paper and PEXA settlements;
  • Communicating with clients, borrowers, solicitors and brokers via phone and email.



About you


  • 1-2 years experience in a document verification/certification/funding role in a legal or financial services environment is essential 
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional matters 
  • Knowledge of multiple State property laws and requirements 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Superior organisational and time management skills; and
  • Solves problems in a proactive and thorough manner.
