About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity available in either our Sydney or Melbourne office for an experienced lawyer with at least four years’ experience to join our award-winning credit and financial services regulatory practice.

 

In this role you will be advising credit and financial services clients on all aspects of regulation and compliance. Areas of focus include advising in relation to the Corporations Act, NCCP Act, AML/CTF Act, Privacy Act, ASICAct, SIS Act, PPS Act, and the Competition and Consumer Act.


This team has a low attrition rate and are a close, social and collaborative bunch who are not siloed so you will work across all clients and with all of the Partners, who are all approachable, genuine and experts in their field.

 

About You

 

To be considered for this role, you will have at least four years of relevant Australian legal experience in this area. If you are currently overseas and looking to return, we would love to hear from you however you will need to be an Australian qualified lawyer.

 

You will possess the ability to work both autonomously as well as in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent analytic skills and a desire to expand their legal and commercial skills.
