About the Role

 

Working alongside two highly experienced career Paralegals and a fabulous Partner, this role works with our Banking & Finance team and focuses on regulation and compliance issues in the financial services industry. The team has a fantastic culture . . . truly collegial with genuine Partner access and no airs and graces. Everyone pitches in to get the work done and really likes and respects each other in the process. You will be exposed to a variety of work in a dynamic, respectful and fun environment.

 

This role will NOT suit a law student and is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term career as a paralegal. 

 

You will be called on to conduct legal research, prepare case summaries, proofread some of the Trust Deeds and loan documents produced by the team, keep tabs on court decisions which impact our clients, prepare summaries of them and then roll out any changes that are required as a result.

 

About You

 

The ideal candidate has solid experience as a Paralegal in a Banking & Finance practice group, or as a Compliance Assistant in a financial institution. You will have a can-do attitude, an amazing attention to detail and be a genuine team player. We'd love to hear from you if you are based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
