Technical Document Specialist 


We have a full-time, permanent role for a Technical Document Specialist available in our Information Technology team. Your role will be to provide support and administration in relation to all systems using document automation platforms.


Your responsibilities will be (but not limited to): 

  • Styling documents consistent with Dentons Style guide
  • Providing technical support in relation to document automation, document templates and resolving issues
  • Document coding using off the shelf document automation platforms
  • Creating and coding bespoke templates in our Doc Collider platforms for volume businesses
  • Working with the business to improve efficiency and productivity
  • QA and testing of developed applications and processes 
  • Training user on software, use of documentation automation
  • Hands on technical duties as and when required e.g. workflow building, system support
  • Keeping the business up to date with progress on tasks


To be successful in this role you must possess: 

  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills including the use of templates and styles (VBA experience preferable)
  • Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Experience with Document Automation Systems (HighQ, Contract Express, Doc Auto and DocAssist)
  • Experience using Document Management Systems (iManage Work 10)
  • Experience working with integrations such as Email and Docusign
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skill
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new applications
  • Technical knowledge and business awareness
  • Strong all-round technical ability
  • Team working, time management, communication, organisational skills
