HR Business Analyst

The HR Business Analyst will provide support to the US Region Talent Transformation Program. The role will work closely with the regional talent leaders, as well as functional leaders within Dentons.

Primary Responsibilities

Support Talent Transformation initiatives in the US region with specific focus on organizational development, core process review and job evaluation/re-design:

  • develop and implement tools and processes to support organizational change
  • help drive organizational review project
  • prepare business cases and project plans
  • capture stakeholder requirements and document/map key processes
  • provide research and analysis support: help collect, collate, analyze and interpret relevant internal data, both quantitative and qualitative from primary and secondary sources
  • deliver discrete portions of work as assigned on various projects, including leading work streams
  • manage stakeholder expectations and communicate results to relevant audiences.

About You

The person stepping into this role will be

  • A self-starter, able to demonstrate a proactive, resourceful and entrepreneurial approach
  • Have maturity and gravitas to effectively work with all levels within and outside the organization, including challenging senior level stakeholders
  • Have a proven analytical abilities to review qualitative and quantitative data and evaluate its accuracy, reliability, completeness and relevance to the assignment and identify pertinent patterns
  • Able to demonstrate practical problem solving ability
  • A team player that is able to work in a small team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) to effectively address all levels within and outside the organization
  • A proactive and assertive approach, tenacity, commitment and enthusiasm;
  • A proven ability to work to tight deadlines, juggle multiple projects and deliver under pressure

Qualifications and Experience

  • BBA or MBA (completed or in progress) is preferred.
  • Have demonstrated strong academic achievement
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably with a large global company is preferred
  • System implementation and process review and documentation experience
  • Advanced IT skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with SharePoint, Visio, MindMapper, PowerBI or Tableau is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of precision of data and accuracy in any deliverables
