Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Profile & Client Development, the Manager, Profile & Client Development partners with senior leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, grow client relationships, and support key business development initiatives. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking strategist—someone who thrives on innovation, spots opportunities in data, and brings fresh ideas to how we engage clients and drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage key client initiatives, including market research, client programming opportunities, progress tracking, and reporting
- Collaborate with global colleagues on key account programs; coordinate client team meetings, initiatives, and cross-functional opportunities
- Lead business development and profile-raising efforts for key clients and strategic initiatives
- Oversee the development and execution of value-added services (e.g., webinars, client programming, and communications) to address market needs
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify innovative offerings and support targeted BD campaigns
- Lead the development of compelling pitches that align client needs with firm capabilities and value-added services
- Partner with the Events team to plan and deliver high-impact client events
- Collaborate with the CRM team to enhance and maintain strategic client lists
- Provide clear direction and context when working with cross-functional teams including Business Intelligence, Communications, Creative, CRM, Digital, Events, Proposals, and other Business Services
- Perform other duties as required to support strategic growth and innovation
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or Business, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in marketing and business development within a professional services environment preferred
- Experience managing business development campaigns, initiatives, and key accounts
- Proven passion for building a client-focused culture and delivering innovative market and business development strategies
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to quickly absorb new ideas and communicate them clearly to varied audiences
- Strong diplomacy, negotiation, persuasion, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills
- Highly effective project management, prioritization, and time management skills
- Commitment to meeting internal client needs with flexibility and perseverance
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
- Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct

This role is a replacement position.
The target salary range for this position is $105,000 – $116,000, commensurate with the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Dentons is committed to equitable and competitive compensation. This target range falls within our internal salary ranges, which are based on comparable roles in the external market. We strive to hire, promote, and transfer individuals at the entry point of the range, with consideration given to prior experience, relevant skills, and market conditions.
