POSITION SUMMARY
Dentons is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team of Corporate Paralegals in our Vancouver office. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and filing compliance documents (including annual reports and resolutions) for British Columbia and Federal entities and monitoring applicable deadlines;
- Preparing and coordinating extra-provincial annual reports for all Canadian jurisdictions, liaising with agents and monitoring of applicable deadlines;
- Preparing and/or revising any documents related to changes to annual maintenance documents, such as changes of officers, directors and principal addresses;
- Processing Transparency Register annual review confirmations;
- Preparing documents to effect the change of outgoing registered and records office;
- Handling electronic minute book filing for compliance documents and various other executed documents;
- Processing department email requests relating to annual maintenance;
- Handling Notices of Commencement of Dissolution received from BC Registries; and
- Other tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Office experience in a professional services firm is required;
- A mimimum 1 to 2 years’ experience working within the Corporate Records practice area or experience preparing annual compliance packages is required;
- Paralegal diploma an asset;
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and time management skills;
- Demonstrates a team approach and supports colleagues;
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multi-priorities to meet necessary deadlines;
- Communicates in a clear and precise manner;
- Advanced computer skills; proficient with MS Word and Outlook.

The expected salary range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience.
