POSITION SUMMARY
The Residential Project Sales Conveyancer will be joining our Real Estate team in our Vancouver office and will have the opportunity to deepen their expertise working on residential project sales. The position will require a confident, organized, reliable and business-minded conveyancer with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will be personable, organized, detail-oriented, and have strong interpersonal skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and distribute correspondence and documents relating to residential project sales (for new development) and manage files from beginning to end
- Manage and handle multiple project sale closings/conveyances
- Liaise with clients, counsel for other parties and financial institutions
- Conduct and review searches, tax certificates and strata forms
- Review closing documents and perform adjustments manually as required
- Manage filings, registrations and payouts
- Finalize transactions including all related reporting
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent organizational/follow up skills and ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proficiency in BC Land title registration requirements, forms and search procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure and take initiative using sound judgment
- Excellent technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Capability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Knowledgeable about current relevant legislation and government regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
- Graduation from a Paralegal program or equivalent related experience
