Position Summary

The Vancouver office is currently seeking a paralegal to join our Corporate Services team on a contract basis.  The Paralegal will bring approximately 3 to 5 years of corporate records experience to assist with verifying information that has been imported into the corporate database, Athennian. The paralegal will report to the Corporate Services Supervisor. 

 

Responsibilities:
•    Reviewing existing corporate records and comparing that information to information imported into the Athennian database to identify and correct discrepancies 
•    Amending/correcting information in the Athennian database

•    Thorough Training on the Athennian database will be provided if required.
•    Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:
•    Paralegal with 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Records
•    Strong knowledge of BC, Federal, extraprovincial and BC society corporate records and transactional work is required along with ability to conduct thorough minute book reviews
•    Attention to detail and accuracy are a must
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
•    Able to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
