  • Advise and educate attorneys on the potential risks and rewards of non-standard fee arrangements, acting as a trusted resource who reinforces pricing discipline and sound commercial decision-making.
  • Provide front-line support for incoming US Fee Request inquiries and other rate/pricing requests, managing workflow priorities and stakeholder expectations while delivering responsive, high-quality customer service in a high-volume environment.
  • Support the annual rate-setting process and client-specific rate analyses, including gathering industry benchmarking data, reviewing key client agreements, and coordinating updates to financial systems.
  • Review and interpret client Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs), identifying pricing requirements, flagging risks or constraints, and escalating to team leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct detailed post-matter financial analysis to leverage historical data and related insights for future pricing decisions and improved financial performance
  • Develop and maintain best practices, tools, templates, reference materials, and build supporting databases and analyses (including AFA tracking, competitor intelligence, and client performance data) to enhance pricing efficiency, consistency, reporting, and strategic positioning.
  • Leverage technology, including business intelligence tools such as Power BI, data analytics platforms, and AI-enabled solutions (such as Harvey or Copilot), to enhance pricing models, reporting, and decision-making processes.
