The Department

The Regional (UK, Ireland & Middle East) Recruitment function consists of Early Careers, Experienced Hires, and Partner Hiring teams that together support Dentons’ strategic direction and growth through the attraction and hiring of high-quality talent.

The Partner Hiring team focuses on identifying and recruiting our future leaders, aligning its priorities with the firm’s five-year strategy. You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking team helping to shape the future success and culture of the firm as we hire the next generation of senior lawyers and business leaders across the region.

The team’s approach is grounded in transparency, innovation, equality and respect, ensuring an efficient, engaging, and inclusive hiring process that reflects Dentons’ values and ambition.

The Role

The Partner Hiring team consists of a Senior Manager, a Manager, an Advisor, and a Coordinator. We're seeking maternity cover until May 2027. As the Partner Hiring Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in keeping the entire recruitment process moving - anticipating what needs to happen next, maintaining accountability across the team, and ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the firm, including Divisional Leads, Practice Management, Finance, IT, and Compliance, supporting every stage of the partner recruitment and onboarding process. No two partner hires are the same, so being able to adapt to changing requirements, exercise sound judgement, communicate effectively and identify practical solutions to challenges are key.

Alongside managing day-to-day recruitment activity, you’ll also contribute to continuous improvement projects — helping to streamline processes, enhance onboarding, and improve the overall candidate and stakeholder experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the legal market and the partner hiring process, while working in a team that values openness, collaboration, and fun.

  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, tailoring your style to suit different preferences (e.g., Teams updates, emails, or brief check-ins).
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across the business, fostering collaboration, trust and shared accountability.
  • Collaborate as part of a close-knit team, contributing ideas, feedback, and suggestions to improve how we work and support the firm’s strategic goals.
